Our Academy

Eintracht Frankfurt‘s new sports performance center opened its doors on 1 November 2010. Its football performance center is one of the most modern of its kind in Europe.

The Premises

The new building, which covers an area of approximately 7,700 m², is part of a large training area. Several grass and artificial pitches, the iconic Riederwald stadium as well as numerous tennis courts and artificial hockey pitches make up the grounds at Riederwald, at the center of which lies Eintracht Frankfurt e.V.‘s new sports performance center.

The Facilities

The improved infrastructure guarantees the sustainability of professional youth training at Eintracht Frankfurt, enabling born and bred Frankfurt youngsters to ply their trade in the Bundesliga for years to come. The nine teams that currently hone their skills at the football performance center have access to top-of-the-range training facilities, which provide the ideal framework for professional football training: a state-of-the-art weights room, a physiotherapy practice, a wellness area with a revitalising pool, whirlpool and sauna, as well as boarding accommodation for up to 14 youth footballers.

The Wolfgang Steubing Hall

A central port of call for several departments, the Wolfgang Steubing Hall comprises three indoor fields and a stand that holds just under 500 spectators, providing Eintracht Frankfurt’s handball, volleyball, basketball, football and hockey players with an ideal venue for training and competitive matches.
