The appointment of at least three full-time supporter liaison officers (SLO) is listed as mandatory in the DFL’s licensing standards. Marc Francis, Julian Schneider, Nadine Krämer, Cornelius Klein and Philipp Guhlke have been appointed to the role by Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG. Additionally Malte Baumann has been appointed the disability access officer (DAO). Together they form the fan relations department, which is actively supported by part time employees and volunteers.
The tasks of the supporter liaison officers are as varied as they are exciting. An intermediary between our fans and Eintracht, they are not only present at every match to offer help and support but are also a substantial part of people’s safety in and around the stadium. In the lead-up to away games, for example, it is their job to clarify which items are allowed to be taken into the away end, and if our supporters can expect anything out of the ordinary at the match. In addition, our supporter liaison officers do their utmost to ensure the lads and girls on the pitch are backed by an imposing, colourful and vociferous crowd. Accessibility and inclusion form an integral part of that process.
The supporter liaison officers also aim to strengthen the bond between our fans and the team through events such as independently organised fan meetings and the EFC Christmas party.
In short: Our supporter liaison officers deal with anything and everything fan related.
