Eintracht Frankfurt has been active in esports since 2018 via EintrachtTech. The journey began in virtual football via a mass sports approach and was expanded in 2020 with the entry into League of Legends (LoL). As part of this, a separate esports membership was introduced for EAFC and LoL. The extensive involvement in professional esports was further expanded in 2024 with the entry into Valorant.
Eintracht Frankfurt Esports is based at the Deutsche Bank Esports Academy in the EintrachtLab.
Events are held regularly at the Deutsche Bank Esports Academy and online on the Discord server of Eintracht Frankfurt's Esports department.
The club also offers amateur esports players the opportunity to practise their sport at a club as part of a holistic support program.
