Where we come from. What is happening. What needs doing.
Taking a stance against racism, exclusion, discrimination, populism and the far right while standing for diversity, integration and togetherness; these are values which Eintracht Frankfurt has always lived by and continues to live by. They are deeply rooted in the club’s culture. Anyone who wears Eintracht’s colours is part of a big family.
“Frankfurt never forgets” describes a collective awareness of the past, present and future. Eintracht does not forget …
… its roots
Neither its own history and the importance the club and city place on diversity, nor the victims of racism and discrimination.
… what is happening
The club takes an unequivocal stance against incidents involving racism and injustice.
… what needs doing
The club is aware of its responsibility in the here and now, and of the need to communicate and reaffirm its stance and values on a regular basis.
It is more than just a slogan. It underlines an unequivocal position. It is a promise, and a reminder, of the social responsibility of the club, its members and its fans.
The club has frequently made its position clear on the issue in the past, be it through its teams or through individual players and officials at public appearances. Or indeed through the Eintracht Museum, which, among other things, has addressed the club’s National Socialist past and repeatedly made calls for greater awareness and remembrance. Then there are Eintracht Frankfurt’s fans, who have taken a clear stance through a number of initiatives. Eintracht has been honoured several times in a variety of ways for its commitment, action and campaigns.
Jerseys with a message
With the support of main sponsor Indeed, among others, Eintracht has addressed the issues of diversity and racism on several special-edition jerseys:
- 1992/93: “My friend is a foreigner”
- 2017/18: Fan initiative “United Colors of Frankfurt: Eintracht lives from diversity”
- 2019/20: “Room for Diversity”
- 2019/20: #blacklivesmatter
- 2023/24: TENT (non-profit organisation Tent Partnership for Refugees)
Taking a stand
Taking a stand against racism and anti-Semitism. Safeguarding the Jewish way of life is a key responsibility of Eintracht Frankfurt. Remember. Recall. Never forget – and act accordingly. Do not remain silent.
Open your eyes and your ears!
